Welcome!

Cub Scout Pack 206 provides fun activities that build character, citizenship, and fitness for boys and girls in grades K-5. Founded in 1949, we are the oldest continually active pack in Lawrence Township, NJ, and we currently have about 50 scouts and many active parent leaders.

Joining The Pack: All boys and girls in grades K-5 are welcome to join Pack 206 at any time during the year by contacting the Membership Chair using the 'Contact Us' page.

Scouts do not need to reside in Lawrence Township to join the Pack. For detailed information see attachment below.

Pack Events: Annual events include the Pinewood Derby, Great Pumpkin Hunt, overnight outdoor and indoor camping events, Blue and Gold Banquet, Raingutter Regatta, Fishing Derby and more! Pack events are usually held once a month, typically on a weekend. Pack events are family-friendly.

Den Meetings: The Cubs in a pack are divided into small groups called dens by grade level. Den meetings are usually twice per month, on a weeknight, as scheduled by the den leader, and include fun and educational activities that help the scouts advance in rank.

Scouting for Food is a longstanding scouting tradition and we do it to help support the food pantry at our charter organization, PCOL (Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville). It's important that our pack show up strong and represent ourselves well to the community. Be sure to wear your Class A uniforms.

Pick one of the dates that works best for you. Mostly Tigers/Wolves will go April 7 and mostly Webelos/Bears/Lions will go April 14. You don't need to stay the whole time but try to arrive at the start time.

Baloo on April 11-12

Posted on Mar 29 2026 - 12:32am

Calling all camping enthusiasts!!! We need leaders to take the Baloo orientation as our current Baloo-trained leaders will be moving onto the troop level in the next 1-2 years. If no one is Baloo trained, we cannot do any of our beloved camp-ins or camp-outs with our pack. Our pack reimburses training for adult leaders.

The next training is April 11-12 https://www.wccscouting.org/baloo

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation is a one-and-a-half day course designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for leaders interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. BALOO training consists of an online pre-requisite component in addition to an overnight hands-on practical. BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience. Completion of this course is mandatory for a MINIMUM OF ONE adult on a Pack overnighter. These trainings are offered only in April and October by the council.

Posted on Mar 28 2026 - 11:59pm

Pack 206 is entirely volunteer lead by parents just like you who love the program, love the pack, and most of all, love their scout. We all have unique strengths we bring to the mix but the most important thing is that we just "Do Your Best" to make the pack a little better in small ways or in big roles. We have many exciting opportunities to help shape the future of our pack and the memories your kids will make!
